This limited edition lithograph poster was created to be exclusively sold at the 2018 Guns n’ Roses show at the Veltins-Arena, Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

Each show on this tour had its own ‘skull-based’ limited edition lithograph poster that had to link itself to the history of the city. Gelsenkirchen is an industrial city famous for coal production and oil refining - so as I was researching this, and coming across photos of their famously tall, heavily smoking chimneys - the idea of a skull ominously forming from the smoke itself presented itself as the perfect solution.

My brother-in-law, tattoo artist Chaim Machlev (DotsToLines) and I collaborated on this piece, he added the geometric swirling lines, that rise with the smoke, through the skull.
